He was predeceased by: his grandson Jimmy Cotterman; and his brother Scott Ray. He is survived by: his wife Donna Barnes Stanford of Fitzgerald; his children, Lisa Frances Hutchinson, Anthony of Macclenny, Floirda and Joseph Stanford of Fitzgerald; his grandson Brandon Hutchinson of Macclenny; his mother Gerline Stanford of Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Billie Jean Meeks, Donnie Harper of Douglas, Glenda Ray of Tifton, Barbara Hyman of Alapaha, Daniel, Judy Ray of Douglas, Gerald and Kelly Ray of Douglas. He is also survived by his aunt who raised him, Emma Veal & Charles Harrell of Fitzgerald; along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
