He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Rob" Roberson and Macey Maria Roberson; his wife Zella Pearl Buckins Roberson; and his grandson Lane Roberson. He is survived by: his children, Shelia Adams (Tim) of Lyons, Robert Roberson (Amy) of Lyons and Samantha Garland (Josh) of Calhoun; his stepchildren, Frank Watts, Sr. of Valdosta and Linda Hutchinson, Sr. (Buddy) of Hazlehurst; his siblings, Shirley Horne of Milan and Cleveland Roberson of Scotland; his close friend Sudie Musselewhite of Fitzgerald; and his grandchildren, Jed Adams (Brogen), Madi Adams, Olivia Champion (Derek), Emilee Roberson, Darby Collins (Brandon), Wesley Garland (Hannah) and Aaron Garland. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vaughn Funeral Home (107 E Oak St, McRae-Helena, GA 31055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Milan Church of God (4007 4045 Milan-Rhine Hwy, Milan, GA 31060).
