He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Jonathan Smith; his wife Evangelist Cynthia Smith of Fitzgerald, Georgia; his children, LaReginald Leverett (Kashenia) of Miami, Florida, Michael Smith (Sharrell) of Fitzgerald, Taccara Leverett of Fitzgerald, Cornelius Smith of Fitzgerald, Quenton Hayward of Fitzgerald, Georgia Hayward and Nathaniel Hayward of Ft. Valley; his siblings, Scotty Smith of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Pastor Benny Smith (Judy) of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Mattie Jackson (Roland) of Baxley, William Lewis, Jr. (Stephanie) of Baxley, Alexander Lewis (Renee) of Baxley, Tollison Lewis (Tiffany) of Jacksonville, Teresa McGahee (Larry) of Augusta and Rhonda Beaton (Charles) of Fayetteville; and his father-in-law Jimmy Cook, Sr.. He was also cherished by 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
