With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Young of Fitzgerald, Georgia, who passed away on September 15, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eston Young and Doris Watson Young; and his son Jimmy Young. He is survived by: his wife Janice Luke Young of Fitzgerald; his children, Jon, Laura Young of Nashville, Jeff, Shelley Young of North Augusta, Jennifer and Kyle Howell of Tifton; his grandchildren, Jackson, Lillian, Evelyn, Andrew, Louis, Mack and Iris Anne; and his brother Jerry (Felecia Young).

A reception was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paulk Funeral Home (301 S Main St, Fitzgerald, GA 31750).
