He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Frank "Sonny" and Etta Bell Penn Gibbs; and his brothers, James Allen Gibbs and Anthony Glen Cross. He is survived by: his children, Tabitha Gibbs of Blackshear and David; his daughter-in-law Lori Gibbs, Jr. of Westminster, SC; his granddaughter Emma North; and his sister Debbie Alligood (Mike) of Macon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
