She was predeceased by: her father Ray Albritton; and her daughter Lena Margaret Herring. She is survived by: her mother Katherine Franklin Albritton of Colquitt, GA; her husband Dr. Davey Herring of Fitzgerald, GA; her children, Charles Davis Herring of Valdosta, GA, Brenda Elizabeth Herring Johnson (James) of Marion, NC, Katie Amelia Herring of Macon, GA and James Richard Albritton Herring of Macon, GA; and her brothers, Michael Albritton (Mary Jean) of Colquitt, GA and Wilton Albritton (Kristi) of Colquitt, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private service for Mrs. Herring due to the on going COVID-19 pandemic.
