He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael E. Hunter and Linda Joyce Bragg Hunter of Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his sister Nickie Kent (Grayson); his niece Madison Kent; his aunts, Helen "Cookie" Hogan and Debbie Green (Eddie); his uncle Bobby Bragg; and his grandmother Margaret Mobley.
