It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmie Blanche Dobbs of Felton, Georgia, born in Buchanan, Georgia, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther B. Richards and Mamie Payne Richards; her husband Early Dobbs; her son Gary Dobbs; her grandson Joey Rainey; her great grandchildren, C. J. Bridgers and Ben Bridgers; and her siblings, Kate Williams, Geraldine McPherson, Mildred Talley, Frank Richards, Lawrence Richards and Curtis Richards.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry (Arlene Dobbs) of Felton and Ricky (Kathy Dobbs) of Felton; and her grandchildren, Joy Ware, Gina Dobbs, Lee Dobbs, Michael, Erin Dobbs, Jamie, Charlie Thurman, Joseph and April Dobbs. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
