She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burns and Claudia Burns (Collins); her husband Jan DeLaney; and her siblings, Kenneth Burns, June Burns Marsh, Ginny Burns Gee and Dorothy Burns Clevenger.
She is survived by: her children, Grant DeLaney (Cindy) and Janet Teague (Dexter); her grandchildren, Clint DeLaney (Keeley), Glory Mundy (Spencer), Kelly Slice and Samantha Teague-Brewton (Evan); her great grandchildren, Geordan Mundy, Gracie Mundy, Ryann DeLaney, Grayson DeLaney, Bo Mundy, River DeLaney, Callie Mundy, Lily Slice, Cooper Mundy, Maylee Mundy and Colton Mundy; and her sister-in-law Lois DeLaney. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Fayetteville (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214).
