He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Francis Brothers and Ester May Hullinger; his siblings, James Brothers, Dorothy Brothers Yoder, Karen Brothers DeBoever, Ruth Brothers and Susan Brothers Smith; and his grandson Joseph Mark Durden.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Jackson Brothers of Fayetteville, GA; his daughter Janet Boozer (Randy); his brother Ernest Dick Brothers of Mishawaka, IN; and his pet Prissy of Fayetteville, GA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Fayetteville (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:30 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Sherwood Memorial Park (6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236).
In Lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
