She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul T. Sowell and Ruth R. Sowell; her husband J. R. Wilson; her siblings, Toni Krumenauer, Paul Sowell, Jr., Barbara Lindblom and Lonnie Sowell; and her great grandchild Joshua Lewis.

She is survived by: her daughters, Edith Cozad (Kerry) of Rockwall, TX, Lynn Trogdon (Lanny) of Chapel Hill, N. C., Laurie Wilson Grubbs (Jerry) of Newnan and Sarah Dickens (Greg) of Fayetteville; and her grandchildren, Michael Watson (Chasity), Joshua Watson (Marisa), Erin Montgomery, Peter Montgomery, Mark Trogdon, Wendy Martin (Jeff), Todd Trogdon, Brandy Roland (Shem), Crystal Lewis (Luke), Rebecca Brown (Zachary), Katie Lunsford (Aaron) and Diana Moore (Robby). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
