He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia Frances Barfield; his son Andrew Chad McAllister (Fort Moore); his parents, Sidney Barnard McAllister and Barbara Jane Osborne McAllister; his nephew Albie Landwehr; his pets, Kinsey, Samurai and Sizzle; his daughter-in-law Sophie Lampru McAllister of Fort Moore; and his sisters, Jane Adrianse and Barbara Landwehr of Asheville, NC.
He had suffered a multi-year battle with Alzheimer's dementia.
