The passing of Josephine Gilbert Alden of Fayetteville, Georgia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Gilbert and Eunice Gilbert; her husband Harold L. Alden, Jr.; and her siblings, Effie Gilbert Edwards, Dorothy Gilbert Jenkins, Johnnie Lee Gilbert, Gene Gilbert, James Gilbert, Raymond Gilbert, Irene Gilbert Westbrook, Rodney Gilbert and Nicky Gilbert.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Alden of Fayetteville and Scott Alden (Jennifer) of Suwanee; and her caregiver Long Hospital. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Fayetteville (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214).
