He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Hayes, and Doris Elizabeth Ralston Hayes, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Anne Rickard Hayes; his sons, John Randall Hayes, Jr. (Kim) and James Preston Hayes; his grandchildren, Payton, Bruin, Brenleigh and Ryann; and his sister Carole Kepley (Steve). He is also survived by his children, and grandchildren, motorcycle friends.
