It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Lee Alden Jr. of Fayetteville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Alden, Sr. and Juanita McGahee Alden; and his siblings, Janice Barnhill and Hewitt Alden (Mack). He is survived by: his wife Josephine Gilbert Alden; and his sons, Larry Alden of Fayetteville and Scott Alden (Jennifer) of Suwanee. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Fayetteville (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Camp Memorial Park (1095 GA-54, Fayetteville, GA 30214).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Senior Ministry of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church or to the American Diabetes Association.
