With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Ann Barksdale of Fayetteville, Georgia, born in Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on December 11, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas J. Greenway and Annie Sue Davis Greenway; her husband Joe E. Barksdale; her son Ricky; and her grandson Cole Gilman.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph D. Barksdale (Susan) and Terri Gilman; her grandchildren, Brandon Barksdale (Claudine), Jessica Miller and Jamie Gilman (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Savannah, Austin, Tyler, Kyle, Georgia, Jesse and Cheyenne; and her brother Charles E. Greenway. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
