He is survived by: his wife Lynda Cokuslu; his children, Sasha, Sedef and Samantha; his son-in-law Josh Crumpton; his grandchildren, Madelyn and Nolan; and his brothers, Mehmet Faruk Cokuslu and Fekret Fiko Cokuslu. He is also survived by his family and friends.
He was active in various civic groups such as the Lions Club and the Travelers Protective Association (TPA), a COVID-19 Research Participant, and other community projects throughout the years.
