He was predeceased by: his sons, Joe and Gene Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Tatara; and his daughters, Betty Ann Guild (Mark), Lois Peters (Jim II), Cathy Morgan (Steve), Donna Griffeth (Dala), Eva Freeman (Kenny) and Jill. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
