He was predeceased by: his parents, Bunt Gardner and Mary Wilda Gardner (Russell); and his brother Aaron Neil Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Lena "Margo" Gardner (Daughterty); his children, Rex Gardner and Donna Whitwood (James); his grandchildren, Wesley Whitwood (Karri), Krista Lynch (Pete), Kayla Sexton (Matt) and Danielle Whitwood; and his great grandchildren, Hayley (Kayla), Annabelle (Krista), Turner (Wesley), Thomas (Krista), William (Wesley) and Beau (Kayla).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Fayetteville (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
