He was predeceased by: his parents, Erland Mackey and Rose Whitman Mackey; and his sister-in-law Mary Mackey. He is survived by: his wife Linda Mackey; his children, Daryl Mackey (Samantha) and Laura Mackey (Kyle Horton); his grandchildren, Faya, Carly, Kayla and Keely; and his brothers, Roy Mackey (Judy), Ray Mackey and Jon Mackey (Mary).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Fayetteville (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Camp Memorial Park (1095 GA-54, Fayetteville, GA 30214). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
