She was predeceased by: her parents, Israel G. Melton and Elizabeth Deloach Melton; her husband Hance Cribbs; her daughters, Margie Vanilla Harris, Annette Cribbs and Rev. Sarah Cribbs Deese; her grandsons, Eddie Chauncey and Jeffrey Cribbs; her great grandchild Dustin Henderson; and her siblings, Juanita Cribbs, Ava Nell Steedley, Clennie Williams, Bertha Douglas, Acline Melton, Virgil Melton, Farris Melton and Aaron Melton.
She is survived by: her children, Vera Henderson of Statenville, Sherry Colburn Watson (David) of Fargo and Jimmy Cribbs (Frances) of Waycross. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; thirty-one great great grandchildren; seven great great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
