With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtice Nelson Lane of Fargo, Georgia, born in Defuniak Springs, Florida, who passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kinsey Nelson and Dasey Yawn Nelson; her granddaughter Creasie Cribbs; and her siblings, Annie Lou Crews, Lounette Stephens and Bearnest Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin O. Lane of Fargo Ga; her children, Karen Cribbs (Lamar) of Perry, FL and Jeffrey Lane (Tina) of Fargo, GA; her grandchildren, Mikaila Croft (Jonathan) of Live Oak, FL, Taylor Coody (Jared) of Lake Park, GA, Jacob Lane of Fargo and Bailey Rowan of Fargo; and her siblings, Janice James (Alvin) of Fargo, Judy Pittman of Fargo, Glenn Nelson (Pam) of Homerville and Ernie Nelson (Esther) of Fargo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Due to the Covid-19 the family will hold a family graveside service at Fargo Memorial Cemetery.
