He is survived by: his wife Ester Willis Nelson; his sons, Rodney Nelson (Angela) of Fargo and Diggem Nelson (Betty) of Fargo; his grandchildren, Nick Wyers and Santana Wyers; and his siblings, Judy Pittman of Fargo, Janice James (Albo) of Fargo and Glynn Nelson (Pam) of Homerville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
