With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy B. Griffis of Fargo, Georgia, who passed away on December 1, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin B. Barineau and Grace Muggridge Barineau; her sister Barbara Haynie; and her grandson Kyle Ware. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Alphin Griffis; her daughters, Grace Parsons (Bill) of Whigham, Georgia Griffis of Whigham, Jessica Hart of Whigham, Carol Leggett (Ken) of Whigham, Cheryl Ware (David) of Whigham and Melissa Kelly (Steven); her grandchildren, Thomas Leggett, III, Rachel Leggett-Clement (Hal), Eryn Parsons and Ericka McIntosh (Randy); and her great grandchildren, Will McIntosh, Kate McIntosh, Cash Carter and Caylor Carter.
