It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie (Risley) Muse of Fairmount, Georgia, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Risley and Janice Risley; her husband David Muse; and her siblings, Hank Risley, Robert Risley and Sherri Chesebro.

She is survived by: her daughters, Vanessa Crider (Brian), Lisa Carrillo (Tony) and Tracy Evans (Chris); her sisters, Debbie Putnam (Jerry) of Booneville, Colleen Dye (Dexter) and Karen McReynolds (Kyle); and her son Rev. David Peeler. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
