She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Frankin Howard and Lola Knight Howard of Cartersville, Georgia.; her former husband Claude Ray Berrong; and her granddaughter Laura Sponsel. She is survived by: her husband Charles Barnwell; and her children, Teddy Berrong (Amy), April Svard (Erik) and Alaina Voges. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
