He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen Sue Russell; his parents, George W. Coffey and Jennie Mae Coffey; his brothers, George Edward Coffey, Allen Webster Coffey and Terry Bruce Coffey; and his close friend Judy Lynn Coffey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Rena (Charles Taylor) and Aneda Ann (Mark Hayes); his brother Sam Julian; his sister-in-law Henrietta Coffey; his sister Linda Coker; his sister-in-law Quantrell Coffey; his grandchildren, Brandie Silvers, Heather Bramblett, Ashley Hayes, Amber Battles, Samantha Lott and Jonathan Russell; and his friend J. Harold Long. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
