Josephine Serritt Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Serritt of Fairmount, Georgia, who passed away on February 17, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel Thompson and Mary Jane Bramblett Thompson; her siblings, Ruth McCarter, Jewel Dalton (Vernon), Roseline Thompson, Dewey Thompson and Van Thompson; and her brother-in-law Dee Cook.

She is survived by: her husband Marvin Serritt; her children, Dana Thurman and Dwayne Serritt (Casey); her grandchildren, Jayla Thurman, Bryson Thurman and Clayton Serritt; her siblings, Barbara Cook and Troy Thompson; and her close friends, Joann White, Paulette Green, Debbie Wyatt, Judy Oliver, Katie Thurman and Patsy Parker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
