He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Starling Young and Ethlyn Shirley Young; his wife Evelyn Lorraine Young; and his grandsons, Dawson Smith and Stephen Young.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Young (Jan), Michael Young (Monique) and Janet Smith (Ralph); his siblings, Norman Dale Young and Shirley Wright; his grandchildren, Ashley Bradley, Andrew Young, Taylor Stagner, Lindsey Smith and Jordan Smith; his great grandchildren, Skylar Holland and Bailey Bradley; and his granddaughter Sarah-Anne Arthur.
