He is survived by: his girlfriend Rebecca Parrish of Fairmount; his siblings, Ronnie (Michelle Coggins), Greg Coggins of Fairmount, Gary (Wanda Silvers), Charles Silvers and Charlotte Mickley; his children, Eddie Townsend of Chatsworth, Michael and Dianne Spivey of Chatsworth; and his grandchildren, Damion, Alyssa and Kalen Townsend. He is also survived by nieces, nephew, and cousins.
