He is survived by: his father Dennis Wilfred Hand; his children, Dennis "Dee" Hand, III (Susan) and Helen Adcock (Barry); his grandsons, Matthew Hand, Jason Hand and Nathan Adcock (Gloria); his great grandchildren, River and Etta Adcock; and his brother Robert "Bob" Hand (Ester). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
