William left this world on March 5, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Lakeman and Rose Lakeman of Haleyville, AL.. He is survived by: his wife Cathie Williams Lakeman; his children, Jeremy Lakeman (Jessica), Chris Lakeman and Amanda Lakeman; his grandchildren, Jillian and Jackson Lakeman; and his brothers, John Lakeman, Tom Lakeman (Becky) and Mike Lakeman (Marie).
