With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Jo Young (Fairburn, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Landers and Ellie Landers; and her brother Jimmy Landers. She is survived by: her husband Charles Young; her children, Wade Young, Melissa Halpin (Kevin) and Renee Ray (Rob); her sister Nancy Hanson; her grandchildren, Adrianna Atkinson, Peyton Lowe (Tyler), Kennedy Halpin and Kamryn Halpin; and her great grandchildren, Kashton and Weston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Parrott Funeral Home Chapel (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213).
