It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monty Bert Painter Sr. (Fairburn, Georgia), who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Monty Bert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Monty Bert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Monty Bert leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara A. Painter; and his siblings, Renny Painter and Sally Stover. He is survived by: his children, Bert Painter and Polly Butler (Chris); and his grandchildren, Tony Butler, Tonya Humphries (Mark), Haley Butler, Valorie Park, Amanda Seamans (Matt) and Holly Marchman (Lee).
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (5755 Mallory Rd, College Park, GA 30349).
