She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Blessitt and Eunice Rebecca Turner Blessitt. She is survived by: her children, Sharon (Speck Debord), Delores Ann Austin of Rome and Douglas Lamar Wheatley of South Fulton; her siblings, Sylvia Diane Wheatley of Hampton, Nita (Robert Pate) and James; and her sister-in-law Maryleigh Blessitt of Fayetteville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
