He is survived by: his parents, Angela Provost (Asante) of Leesburg, VA and Charles Bates (Tomeka Grogan-Bates) of Fairburn, GA; his sisters, Jasmine Bates, Jenae Bates-Robinson (Michael) and Aliyah Provost-Johnson; his grandparents, Richard Donaldson, Henry Jackson and Judith Bates; his great-grandparent Geneva Preston; and his nephews, Caleb, Josiah, Isaiah and Micah. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins.
