He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry E. Luke, Sr. and Etta Maison; and his brother Harry Luke. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Scruggs Luke; and his children, Caroline Luke Chea (Daniel), Massa Borrow Luke, Ida Luke Tokpa (Edward), Henry E. Luke, III (Michael Luke) and Liberia West Africa. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and host relatives and friends.
