Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Deloris leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Reverend James B. Lykes Jr. and Mattie B. Lacey Lykes; her sons, Lorenzo Clark and Hosea Clark (Crystal); her stepson Robert Clark Jr. (Sharon); and her siblings, James B. Lykes III (Pamela), Mary Hines, Jeremiah Lykes (Cassandra) and Josephine Lykes Kitt.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Southern Cremations & Funerals - Fairburn (431 SW Broad St, Fairburn, GA 30213). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Her community service in Georgia began with her donation of clothes, medical supplies, and finances to the people in Haiti, making meals packages and personally driving around in Atlanta and the surrounding areas distributing them to the homeless or less fortunate.
