She is survived by: her parents, Charles Whitaker and Essie May Lyles of Columbia, SC; her children, Raina Dennis of Hampton and Edgardo Novoa of Jonesboro; and her siblings, Jackie McCollum of Stone Mountain, Donna Rogers of Winston Salem, NC, Lovetta Williams of Blythewood, SC, Venice Inabinet of Columbia, SC, Mamie Scott of Brigham, AL, Willie Whitaker of Troutman, NC and Odell Lyles of Fayetteville. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
