He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Pate and Sarah Pate; and his brothers, Curtis Pate and Claude Pate. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Bullington Pate; his daughters, Marcia Privett (Wayne) of Newnan, GA and Jan McKenzie (Michael) of Fairburn, GA; his grandchildren, Amy Morris (Jimmy), Jason Privett (Cathy), Kirk McKenzie (Erica) and Kale McKenzie; his great grandchildren, Rhiannon Morris, Adaline Morris, Emma Privett, Hayden Privett, Anniston Privett, Garrett McKenzie and Reagan McKenzie; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Bullington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
