It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Hornsby III of Evans, Georgia, who passed away on December 12, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Clara Hornsby; his sons, Walter S. Hornsby IV and Wendell Steven Hornsby; his granddaughter Makayla H. Slaton (Jarrell); his sister Willena H. Butler; and his aunt Charlotte H. Watkins. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Please will continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
