She is survived by: her sons, Gabriel R. Hathaway and Richard L. Hathaway; her boyfriend Kirk Laney; her daughters-in-law, Cora Galindo-Hathaway and Barbara Gaston; and her grandchildren, Mia C. Hathaway, D. Ethan Gaston and S. River Gaston. She is also survived by her six dogs and eighteen horses.
