She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Mata; her daughter Evangelina Arellano; her grandchildren, Joel Mata and Yolanda Arellano; and her parents, Tranquilino Aguirre and Juana Coronado.
She is survived by: her children, Felipe Mata (Teresa), Arturo Mata (Maria), Pantaleon Mata, Hermelinda Naranjo (Carlos), Dolores Maciel (Agapito) and Leticia Gonzales (Hector); and her sisters, Ramona Aguirre Coronado and Rebeca Campos Coronado. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
