She was predeceased by: her husband H. C. Hearn, Jr.; her parents, Elsie Layton Strickland and Jessie Floyd Strickland; and her siblings, Ernie Strickland and Judy Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Caughey Hearn (Julianne) of Claxton, GA and Dene D. Wilmot (Steve); her grandchildren, Bradley Hearn, Banks Hearn, Ashley Wilmot and Charlie Wilmot; and her sisters, Bonita Owens (Richard), Carolyn Horton (Harold) and Shelva Sikes (Preston). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
