Mellie Kerins Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 77, Mellie Kerins in Evans, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mellie Kerins to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Baker Gibson and Marvin George Gibson; her granddaughter Mary Kerins Gruppi; and her son-in-law Jarad Blanton. She is survived by: her husband Craig Kerins; her sisters, Margie Karp (Allen) and Gayle Wyckoff; her daughters, Annie Kerins (Dan), Liz Parks (Joe) and Maggie Blanton; and her grandchildren, Quinn Parks, Virginia Parks, Caroline Parks and Eleanor Blanton.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church (1420 Monte Sano Ave, Augusta, GA 30904). The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the same location.
