He is survived by: his wife Cassandra Hammond Luke; his son McGahee Luke, Jr.; his sisters, Ella Mae "Al" Brunson, Carrie Bowdre and Catherine Burns; and his grandchildren, Nehemiah "NeNe", Naomi, Sean, Kohl, Trinity, Jadyn, Janiya Johnson and Jailyn Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Water Branch Baptist Church (5708 Wrightsboro Rd, Grovetown, GA 30813). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hammond Family Memorial Cemetery.
