He was predeceased by: his parents, Gridley Dement and Jean Dement; and his sister Laura Dement. He is survived by: his wife Donna Dement of Bulloch County; his brother Jay Dement of Cobb County; his daughters, Lauren Dement (Richard McDowell) and Ann Blackmon (Benjy) of Bulloch County; his stepsons, David Kennedy (Chelsey) and Dustin Kennedy of Evans County; and his grandchildren, James Sayers of Bulloch County, Evan Sayers of Bulloch County, Cheyenne McDowell of Bulloch County, Mark Green of Bulloch County, Sydney Blackmon of Bulloch County and Braylee Kennedy of Evans County.
