He is survived by: his wife Ann Hydrick Luckey; his daughter Jennifer Luckey Whatley (David Whatley); his grandchildren, Katie Avery, Reece Whatley, Madeline Avery and David Neil Whatley, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Robert F. Harter, Everette, Gail Hydrick and Linda Street.
