She was predeceased by: her parents, Emile Wright and Ollie Mae Daniel; her husband B. G. Tippins, Jr.; her daughter Carol; her grandson Glen Akins; and her great grandchild Jordan Sapp.
She is survived by: her children, Norma Strickland (Jimmy) of Lilburn, Glenda Threet (John) of Claxton, Cathy Haire (Wayne) of Claxton and Bascom Tippins (Susan) of Dawsonville; and her sister-in-law Mary T. Connor of Statesboro. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
