He was predeceased by: his wife Meriam Kilner Harper; and his brother William W. Harper of Athens. He is survived by: his children, William Harper, Michael Harper (Elaine) and Holly Welsh (Richard); and his caregiver Gloria Mims. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, nieces & nephews.
